72cm acrylic on canvas. A mighty denizen of the deep surfaces for a snack. There are two schools of Kraken painting: the octopus and the squid. I've gone for the squid here as it's a more feasible as a ship eating monster (octopi tend do spend their time on the floor of the ocean) I might try an octopus for my next project so as not to appear partisan.
