263/175cm acrylic on linen. The third and last of of these big ones. Mermaids hunt flying rabbits from the mouth of a river while themselves being abducted by amorous centaurs who run with minotaurs under a moonlit yellow sky. This one is about our dreams. We all sometimes miss our childhood when facts were not so set and in a larger sense feel nostalgia for the imagined innocence of days gone by. I always have had a soft spot for a good hybrid beast. Perhaps we will make a few of these dreams come true with our new found understanding of genetics?
