I'd been working on this alphabet for several years and when I finished, I thought a mere ABC book beneath me, so I wrote Caino.  However, when I finally got around to it, the ABC book was just as challenging-I had to find a page worth to say about three more or less random things beginning with each of the alphabet's twenty six letters.  Easy with some of them.  Some of them.  I'm happy with it: I managed to touch on some really age-inappropriate subject mater and back gingerly away-leaving openings for a parent to explain issues of life, death...

I've been getting increasingly crypto-zooalogical these days. Despite it's being as cliched as a poker game full of dogs, I've gone and preformed one of the great standards of painting and illustration. It's got me through my bumbling month of advertising my first experiment in crowd funding and almost lasted me through the surreal experience of the election.  I've got another round canvas all ready to go, as well as a few canvases stretched with printed out vectors of my work. What strange manner of creature will I paint next? Will it be any good?... Only time will tell.
